Guided Walking Tours have resumed. Tours will launch from 19 Rector Street, New York, NY 10006. Walking Tours will depart Monday – Sunday at 11am, 12pm, 1pm, 2pm, and 3pm.

The 9/11 Tribute Center will be closing temporarily on April 16, 2017 in order to move to a new expanded facility, located at 92 Greenwich Street, New York NY 10006.

Walking Tours will resume on May 1, 2017. Our projected reopening will be in late May 2017.

We will provide ongoing updates on Museum progress and our official opening date, and hope you will be able to join us to celebrate this momentous step forward!

About the new 9/11 Tribute Museum

The 9/11 Tribute Museum offers visitors the ability to learn factual information about 9/11, the unprecedented rescue and recovery operations and the rebuilding of both Lower Manhattan and of people’s lives.

The Museum presents videos, artifacts and “Person to Person History,” linking visitors who want to understand the historic events of 9/11 with those who experienced them. The visitor discovers the tremendous spirit of resilience and service that arose after the attacks, and are encouraged to honor the legacy of that spirit through volunteerism and acts of kindness in their own communities.

Highlighted Exhibitions Will Include:

  • Historical personal perspectives of 9/11
  • Community Response, Recovery & Rebuilding
  • Evolution of 9/11 Foundations Serving the World
  • Promoting Seeds of Service
