Thank you for this beautiful tribute. It was an honor to walk through, to see the faces, to pray for them, their families, for all of us that remain. My son-in-law was in tower 2 that day and my daughter, his wife, watched with horror from Stevens Institute (where she worked) when the buildings went down. Kenny made it out safely but not unscathed. He and their little family moved away and created a different life. They are slowly coming back. It is quite painful for all of us. I too am an educator and believe whole-heartedly in your/our effort to educate against oppression, hate, ignorance. We are one people. I have dedicated my life to that principle now more than ever.
